This pound cake is incredible. Light and fantastic taste. It goes perfect with whipped cream and fresh fruits too, as well as with ice cream.

A tasteful classic, Pound Cake recipe is simple and elegant! This cake is soft and buttery! You will make a rich and fluffy pound cake that melts in your mouth

HOW TO MAKE POUND CAKE

The pound cake is very easy to make. Grease and flour your baking pan and set oven to 350F. In a bowl, mix together butter and sugar together until light and fluffy using an electric mixer on high speed.  Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each one.  Add the vanilla and salt then beat to combine.  With mixer on low, gradually add flour, beating just until combined and add the baking powder. Pour batter to your prepared tin and bake about 1 hour. Let cool for 20 minutes and then run a knife around the sides and center of the pan.
