800 g of white cabbage
1 -large carrot (s)
1 small onion (s)
65 g of sugar, white
½ TL Salt
⅛ tsp pepper, black
60 ml of milk
125 g mayonnaise
60 ml buttermilk
1 ½ tablespoons white wine vinegar
2 ½ tablespoons of lemon juice, fresh
¼ tsp paprika powder
½ tsp mustard, optional

Tastes just like Kentucky Fried Chicken

Ingredients

  • 800 g of white cabbage
  • 1 -large carrot (s)
  • 1 small onion (s)
  • 65 g of sugar, white
  • ½ TL Salt
  • ⅛ tsp pepper, black
  • 60 ml of milk
  • 125 g mayonnaise
  • 60 ml buttermilk
  • 1 ½ tablespoons white wine vinegar
  • 2 ½ tablespoons of lemon juice, fresh
  • ¼ tsp paprika powder
  • ½ tsp mustard, optional

Instructions

    1. Cut white cabbage, carrot and onion into fine and very thin strips about 2.5 cm long, either by hand or in a food processor.
    2. Add white cabbage, carrot and onion in a large bowl. Mix the remaining ingredients well in another bowl, if necessary add the mustard. Then pour over the white cabbage mixture. Season to taste.
    3. Cover the bowl and refrigerate the coleslaw for at least 8 hours, preferably 12 to 15 hours, to ensure that all the ingredients are well combined. To serve 1/2 hour before take out of the refrigerator.
    4. Coleslaw is the perfect accompaniment to hamburgers, pulled pork, hot dogs, grilled pork and poultry and, of course, BBQ.
