How to make Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken?
Honey mustard marinade is super easy to make. Whisk together dijon mustard, lemon juice, honey, garlic and soy sauce. Put chicken breasts in a ziplock bag and add the marinade over the chicken. Place the chicken a few hours to overnight in the fridge. When ready to cook the chicken, remove the chicken from the marinade. Cook the chicken on the grill until it reaches an internal temperature of 74ºC.
- 4 skinless boneless chicken breasts
- ¼ cup Dijon mustard
- ½ cup honey
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- Preheat the grill for medium heat.
- In a shallow bowl, mix the honey, mustard, lemon juice, soy sauce and garlic. Set aside a small amount of the honey mustard sauce for basting, and dip the chicken into the remaining sauce to coat.
- Lightly oil the grill grate. Grill chicken over indirect heat for 13 to 15 minutes until no longer pink and reaches in internal temperature of 74ºC. Watch carefully to prevent burning!
