Great food starts with great ingredients. This tasty sauce is so easy to make…Luckily, you can prepare it with common ingredients that you may already have. Start with browning lean ground sirloin in a large pan on high heat until no longer pink on meat. Drain the fat. Add some minced garlic. Cook for 30 seconds. And then, add tomato paste or fresh chopped tomatoes and cook for an additional 30 seconds more. Pour some red wine into the pan. Pour onion powder, oregano, red pepper, black pepper, salt, tomatoes, and sugar. Simmer the sauce for 10 minutes. Stir in cream and grated parmesan cheese, cook an additional 10 minutes. Boil water in a large pot and cook pasta. Drain it and serve the meat sauce on the pasta.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground sirloin
  • ½ Teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup cream
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 12-oz cooked and drained pasta
  • 4 garlic minced cloves
  • 1 Tablespoon dried oregano
  • ¾ cup dry red wine
  • 1 (28-oz) can crushed tomatoes
  • 2 Tablespoons tomato paste
  • ½ Teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ Teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 2 Teaspoons sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet start with browning delicious lean ground sirloin on high heat. Drain fat. Add garlic to skillet and cook for a few minute, then add tomatoes paste. Stir into the tasty browned sirlion and cook for 30 seconds more.
  2. Add red wine, oregano, red pepper, onion powder, crushed tomatoes, salt, sugar, and black pepper.
  3. After boil it, reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.
  4. Add cream and parmesan cheese. Cook additional 10 minutes. Serve the sauce on the pasta.
