Herbed Stuffed Chicken is a delicious, creamy, and surprisingly low-calorie treat that you can make with fresh vegetables any time of the year. After marinating chicken breasts with salt and pepper, the cream cheese stuffed inside is ideal for a light dinner with the perfect harmony of garlic, dill and chives.

Chicken stuffing does not take as much time as you might think. It will take a few minutes. Chicken breasts are divided into two to fill the inside and after the filling is spread on the side, the other part is covered on top. It’s pretty simple.

 

Herb Stuffed Chicken

yield: 4 SERVINGS

INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 oz 1/3 less fat cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 1 tablespoon dill
  • 1 tablespoon  chives
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 4 (6 oz each) boneless, skinless chicken breasts (24 oz total)
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

DIRECTIONS:

  1. In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, parsley, dill, chives and garlic well.
  2. Cut the chicken breasts using a sharp knife so that they can be top and bottom.
  3. The mixture made with cream cheese is placed between these openings.
  4. Sprinkle salt and pepper on the stuffed chicken breasts.
  5. Add oil to a large pan and bring it to high heat.
  6. Cook the chicken breasts for 1-2 minutes on both sides until golden brown.
  7. The fried chicken breasts are placed on the baking tray and baked for 30-35 minutes in a preheated oven at 400 degrees.
